Please join us on a Sunday. All are welcome and there's no need to book - just turn up!

  • Every Sunday - 9:30am Communion service (with groups for 0-11s)

  • 1st & 3rd Sunday - 8am BCP service  (Book of Common Prayer, in side chapel)

What to expect

Whether you have never been to church before or are a regular, we would love to see you at St Peter's and aim to make everyone feel comfortable. Everything you need should appear on the screen. We love having children in our services, so don't worry about noise if you're a parent with young kids. We run Tots (for 0-4s) and Junior Church (for primary-aged children) in our church extension during the 9:30, but the kids stay in the main service for the first 10 minutes before heading to their groups for activities, fun and age-appropriate teaching (all overseen by our full-time Children's Worker, Helen Price). More info can be found here.

We ask those who want to sing to sit in the front half of the church and those who want to be more cautious to sit in the back half. Following the government's move to "Plan B", masks are now a legal requirement in church for everyone over the age of 11 (unless exempt).

Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided in the church hall after the service.
