What "secret" has the apostle Paul learned?

Why do you think knowing Jesus gives Christians strength in good times and bad?

What things can Christians never lose?

Have there ever been times when life was hard but Jesus made you stronger?

 

Why not colour in this sheet and put it on the fridge to help you remember v13, or...

rewrite the verses above replacing these words with a drawing: secret, content, well fed, hungry, plenty, lots, little, strength. 

At the end of chapter 4, we find out Paul is writing a thank-you letter because the Philippians sent him a gift. Being a content Christian helps us to enjoy giving things even more than getting things - a bit like the boy in this video...
