Welcome to our Sunday service: 6 December

During the first three Sundays of Advent we are looking at three songs in Luke chapter 1.

Click on the video below from 9:30am onwards as we look today at Luke 1:46-55 (the Magnificat).

Services resume

In addition to the church continuing to be open 9am-noon on Wednesdays and Sundays as before, in-person 9:30am services at St Peter's resume today.

Giving Appeal

The St Peter's income has dropped dramatically over the past year, due to coronavirus restrictions. At the same time, our outgoings have increased, due largely to necessary roof work.  Next Sunday (13th), we will have a dedicated time for people either to give electronically or, for those who can attend in-person and would normally give to the collection plate, to bring in their missed donations (ideally in one lump sum) on Sunday 13th.

Tea with the Vicar

If you would like to catch up midweek then tune in via Zoom from 3:30-4pm on Wednesdays for a time of fellowship and prayer (click here).

Shoebox appeal

Today at noon is the deadline for getting Christmas Shoeboxes (click here) to St Peter's. Alternatively, you can send a shoebox online (click here).

If you know anyone without the internet who might appreciate this service, they can call 01280 73 43 73 and listen to the above sermon at any time, day or night, at the usual rate for a local landline number.

We are committed to the safeguarding and care of children, young people, victims/survivors of domestic abuse and vulnerable adults. Please see our safeguarding page for more details.
