The Bible is enough


"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."


Psalm 119:105

What does the psalm say God's word (the Bible) is like?

  • Go and find a torch in your house to help you remember that the Bible is like a light that guides you when you are in the dark.

  • Can you think of a time you went wrong this week and ignored God's way? What does God word have to say about that?

  • Why not ask God for forgiveness and thank him that Jesus has already paid for your sin on the cross.

The Bible gives us all we need to find our way through life.


  • draw a small boat in a storm at night

  • now draw a lighthouse on the horizon leading the boat safely to harbour

  • the Bible guides us to the harbour of heaven 

If the Bible is this important it's great to memorise verses in the Bible.
